The AGE-WELL National Impact Challenge spotlights top startups in Canada’s AgeTech sector. This year, six Canadian startups were chosen to compete in the 2021 AGE-WELL National Impact Challenge.
We are pleased to announce that this year’s winner is Hyivy Health. Congratulations to CEO Rachel Bartholomew who made the winning pitch. The first-place prize is $25,000 in cash plus in-kind prizes. Read more.
The runner-up receiving a $10,000 cash prize is ImaginAble Solutions. Congratulations to CEO Lianna Genovese. ImaginAble Solutions is also the recipient of the Bereskin & Parr sponsorship and intellectual property services prize.

Finalists were challenged to explain how their technology-based solution can positively impact older Canadians and/or caregivers. Each finalist delivered a five-minute pitch followed by a Q&A with a panel of expert judges.

The AGE-WELL National Impact Challenge is an annual competition that recognizes top startups and supports entrepreneurship in Canada’s technology and aging sector. It is open to any entrepreneur or startup with a technology-based solution that can support the health and quality of life of older adults or their caregivers.
